Welded metallic bellow seal are designed to avoid most probabilities of failure .As they do not have dynamic sealing devices like O-ring, wedges ,etc. which cause shaft grooving or fretting. Replacing spring
with metal bellow ensures even loading and self-cleaning to avoid clogging.
